Definition

Determines whether methods are copied.

Use

Select this option to copy methods and data entry layouts. You can use the options in the corresponding group field to control exactly which settings are copied. If you do not select this option, the system does not copy any methods or data entry layouts, even if you have selected individual options in the respective group field.

Dependencies

Further dependencies exist in the respective group fields:

• If a method category uses a method layout, the layout is also transported if the corresponding method category has been selected and no restriction has been made for method categories. A restriction to individual methods is not taken into consideration in the selection of method layouts.
• When this option is selected, reusable structures and forms of manual data entry are always copied, regardless of any restriction to the data entry layout.
• When this option is selected, reusable validation rules are always copied, regardless of any restriction to the method.
• When this option is selected, reusable mapping rules for data collection methods are always copied, regardless of any restriction to the method.
• When copying currency translation methods, you also need to copy the corresponding rounding methods.
• When copying data transfer methods, you also need to copy the corresponding data collection methods. You do not necessarily have to copy the associated manual data entry layouts.
