Definition

If you select Method Change at Beginning of Period for a consolidation unit in the group-dependent assignment of consolidation of investments methods, then the system executes the method change activity first for the investee unit for which the method is being changed. Consequently, the subsequent activities in the current period then apply the new method.

If the indicator is not selected, the system first executes all activities (that have been entered or derived) of the investee unit using the old method. Afterwards, the system executes the method change as the last activity for the investee unit in the current period.
