  • If appropriations are disclosed in the balance sheet, then this item must reside in the income statement and accommodates the minority interest in annual net income.
  • If appropriations are disclosed at the end of the income statement, then this item must reside within the appropriations of retained earnings and accommodates the minority interest in retained earnings.
