Use
You can choose between a periodic or cumulative reclassification:
- Periodic Reclassification
You choose periodic reclassification if you have defined a reclassification
- in which the trigger is not the same as the source, and
- which you want to perform in each consolidation interval.
In this case, during subsequent consolidation you will only want to reclassify the value change that occurs at the trigger, not the cumulative value.
Periodic reclassification only includes the values of those periods that belong to the current interval of the consolidation frequency.
Reclassifications can only be posted in the consolidation period (the last period in the consolidation interval). For example, in semi-annual consolidations you can only post reclassification entries in the periods 006 and 012.
The starting period for periodic reclassifications is the first period of the current consolidation interval. The ending period is the current period - that is, the period in which the reclassification is performed, which is also the consolidation period.
- Cumulative Reclassification (default)
You choose cumulative reclassification to reclassify the entire value of the accounting object.
The starting period for the data selection is period 000; the ending period is the current period - that is, the period in which the reclassification is performed.
