Definition
BI Planning uses aggregation levels InfoProviders. They are the equivalent to the concept of planning levels in SEM-BPS. At aggregation levels you can define input-ready BW queries and planning functions.
Aggregation levels have the following properties: a technical ID (unique in the namespace of all InfoProviders), the InfoProvider on which it is based, and a set of characteristics and key figures that represent subsets of the characteristics and key figures of the InfoProvider.
