Definition
Specifies that processing takes place in the background.
Use
To avoid overloading the system during times of high utilization, or if longer processing times are not a problem, you can run the program in the background. Select Background Processing and then execute the function.
In the subsequent dialog screens you can:
- Change the printer settings or adopt the defaults
- Enter a name and the start and output times for the job
The job is then executed in the background at the specified time.
