Definition
Determines whether the data belonging to an object is available for reporting in the SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW).
If this indicator is set, the data belonging to an object is considered in the current status during automatic data extraction to SAP BW. If the indicator is not set, the data is not considered during the extraction and is available for cost estimates but not for reporting.
Use
Set this indicator if you want the data belonging to this object to be included in reporting.
Dependencies
The data can only be included in reporting if you have made the entries required for this in the structure maintenance (such as RFC destination for BW system, completely defined names of the objects required for data extraction to SAP BW such as InfoCube, DataSource).
Example
You determine in status management for objects that object data should only be considered in reporting, if an object has the status "released". In this way, you make sure that only data that comes from released objects is displayed in reporting.
Data from experimental objects or objects created for test purposes is then ignored in reporting.
