If this indicator is set, then a write protection is set for the imported costing elements (costing nodes and objects) after the import.
Use
Use this indicator when you want imported structures to only be accessed with read access. To execute changes you must first remove the write protection in the working environment. You can also copy the imported elements into the working environment and then work on this copy.
