Definition

If the flag is set for a transaction type, the fields, local currency amount and local currency rate of the foreign currency flows, are automatically filled in upon creation of a transaction. Through this, there are no profits and/or losses when determining realized rate profits/losses. With transactions only involving a foreign currency, the transaction rate is used as the local currency rate. In cross transactions, the rate used on contract conclusion to translate the the purchase flow is taken from the currency table and the amount calculated as the local currency amount is also used in the sales flow.

Special case - rollover/premature processing.

If the flag is set for a transaction used to offset the original transaction, then the local currency amount of the foreign currency flows of the offsetting transaction and the original transaction is filled with the same amount when carrying out the rollover (premature processing).
