Definition
The dimension of a risk factor is the exponent to the base of 10. Using this dimension, both very large and very small numbers can be depicted for the risk factor.
Example
A risk factor value of 3.2 for a risk factor with the dimension -4 actually has a risk factor value of 3.2 * (10 exp -4) = 0.00034.
