Definition
A tax rate ID is an alphanumeric code that identifies a particular tax rate for a specific tax type.
When maintaining tax rates, each tax rate must be assigned a tax rate ID. When the system calculates taxes, the tax rate IDs are returned together with the tax rates. The tax rate IDs are used in follow-up processes, e.g. transferring invoices to accounting, or reporting.
