Definition
In some complex tax scenarios, Extended Tax Result Assignment is required to guarantee the correct mapping of the tax-relevant condition components to the tax elements.
Tax-relevant condition components are base value, tax rate, and tax value. These elements are calculated/derived via the condition types in a tax calculation procedure.
By default these tax-relevant condition components are mapped to the tax elements, tax base value, tax rate, and tax value respectively. However, in more complex secenarios, it is necessary to assign each condition component in a tax calculation procedure to a suitable tax component. When this is the case in countries such as India or Brazil, the Extended Tax Result indicates that exact mapping has to be made.
