Documentation
Definition
An Exchange Rate Type is necessary for specifying how a currency is converted. Currency conversion is required when:
- A transaction involves more than one currency
- Tolerance amounts etc have to be calculated into a specific currency
- The header currency and pricing element currency are not the same
- The document currency has to be converted into the reporting currency
If you do not want to use the SAP standard conversion data, maintain all the data below:
- From Currency
- To Currency
- Conversion Date - if the required conversion date is different to the document date, enter the date.
- Exchange Rate Type
- Conversion Rate
If some or all of this data is not maintained, the TTE uses the SAP standard conversion data as defined in the global settings.
