Documentation
Definition
The valuation model defines an evaluation of selection classes.
Use
You use a valuation model to determine which employee data is evaluated in an employment period calculation. The valuation model is assigned to a calculation process or to its process step.
Supplementary Documentation - TSPST 0001
Use
The valuation model together with the rounding rule is the calculation rule for a time specification. A time specification can, for example, be the length of service in a company.
The valuation model is a combination of valuation rules. A valuation rule is based on a specific infotype. However, the calculation of a time specification is usually based on the valuation of several infotypes. Several valuation rules are therefore combined to a valuation model.
