The interest rate indicates which percentage rate you use to calculate the interest on the amount (principle, current maintenance, interest-bearing interest) from infotype 0112 (Garnishment Claim).
Use
The field is used in Payroll to calculate interest.

For some interest types, you must enter an interest rate. If the interest rate is zero, a warning message is output. If you enter an interest rate, you must also enter an interest calculation period.
