Documentation
Definition
The write-up rule determines how, for a valuation step, a positive difference between market value and book value is treated during a key date valuation:
- No Write-Up:
No flow is generated
- Write Up to Market Value:
A write-up flow is generated for the difference between the market value and the book value.
- Write Up to Purchase Value:
If the market value is higher than the purchase value plus amortizations to date and cumulative repayments, a write-up flow is generated for the difference between these two amounts only.
