Definition
The transfer posting between the two selected (special) valuation classes is achieved by transferring positions from their original, general valuation class to new, general valuation classes. The choice of general valuation class for target positions is limited in such a way that the transfer posting between the selected (special) valuation classes takes place in the selected valuation area.
The indicator controls whether you are allowed to select the general valuation classes for the target positions.
If this indicator is not set, the input options for the general valuation classes for the target positions are restricted, ensuring that transfer postings are only performed in the selected valuation area. The special valuation classes from source and target positions must therefore be matched in the other valuation areas.
If the flag is set, the system does not check the general valuation classes to be entered for the target positions. It therefore cannot determine whether transferring the general valuation class results in the special valuation class being transferred to non-selected valuation areas. Thus, transfer postings generally take place in the other valuation areas too.
