Securities and Futures
The market value of an item in position currency for a given key date is calculated by multiplying the market rate of the ID number on the key date by the number of units in the position. If the market rate is not available in position currency, the amount is converted into position currency using the market exchange rate for the key date and the rate type from the valuation step procedure.
Loans and OTC Transactions
The market value of a position for a given key date is the net present value of the contract on that date. If the net present value is not available in position currency, it is converted into position currency using the market exchange rate for the key date and the rate type from the valuation step procedure.
