Definition
When you have a position outflow in single position management (lot management), the consumption sequence procedure determines which part of the position is sold.
The following procedures are available:
- LIFO = Last In First Out: If you use this procedure, you sell the position that was purchased most recently.
- FIFO = First in First Out: If you use this procedure, you sell the position that has been on your books the longest.
- Manual assignment: If you choose this option, a dialog box appears each time you make a sale in which you can enter the positions you wish to sell. You can split the sale across various single positions.
- Manual assignment for zero bonds: This procedure is for "legacy positions" in zero bonds. It corresponds to the manual assignment option, except that in this case a sale can only relate to one single position.
