Definition

The consumption sequence procedure determines how the portion of the position to be sold is determined for outflows in single position management (Lot Management).

The following consumption sequence procedures are available:

• LIFO = Last in First out. With this consumption sequence procedure, the position that is sold is the one that was most recently purchased.
• FIFO = First in First out. With this consumption sequence procedure, the position that is sold is the one that has been held the longest.
• Manual assignment. With this consumption sequence procedure, a dialog box appears for every sale, and here you specify which positions you wish to sell. This way, you can split the sale into various single positions.
• Manual assignment for zero bonds. This consumption sequence procedure is meant for 'old' zero bond positions. It corresponds to manual assignment with the restriction that any sale may only relate to a single position.
