Definition

The accounting code is the central organizational unit in the parallel valuation areas. Each business transaction is assigned to a specific accounting code. The accounting code itself corresponds exactly to a company code (1:1 relationship). You assign the accounting code to an FI company code in the IMG activity Define Accounting Codes.

Note

This characteristic is only displayed for the area of validity of the architecture of the parallel valuation areas . This means that this characteristic is empty for the area loans (CML) operative (valuation area 001 in integrated reporting).
