Documentation
Definition
Contains:
- Either the amount of the total gross holiday pay a white-collar worker received from his previous employer on leaving the company,
- Or the amount of the total taxable holiday pay, if the employee was employed as a blue-collar worker during the holiday reference year.
Use
This field has to be filled in if the amounts of the single and double holiday pay are not mentioned separately on the holiday certificate.
If this is the case, you are not allowed to fill in the fields Single holiday pay and Double holiday pay. The system itself calculates the single and double holiday pay on the basis of the total holiday pay.
- If the employee is currently employed as a white-collar worker, the new employer has to settle the holiday pay the employee received from his previous employer(s) or from the Holiday fund (in case the employee was employed as a blue-collar worker).
- If the employee was employed as a white-collar worker at his previous employment, enter the gross holiday pay amount.
- If the employee was employed as a blue-collar worker during the holiday service year, enter the taxable amount of the holiday pay. When calculating double holiday pay, the system automatically converts this taxable amount into a gross amount, so that it can calculate the employee's double holiday pay properly.
Note
If you leave out the Single hol. pay, Double hol. pay and Gross tot. pay fields, the employee is considered as a young school leaver by the system.
