Definition
The information stored for the time data ID of this characteristic is proposed when maintaining time data.
Use
Example
Two characteristics have been defined for the ID "L." One characteristic represents infotype 2001/subtype 0110, and the other characteristic infotype 2001/subtype 0110. You specify infotype 2001/subtype 0100 as the default ID. Now when a user enters the ID "L," the system automatically defaults to infotype 2001/subtype 0100.
Note
The default time data ID can only be an ID belonging to the infotype data category. Time events from the Time Events infotype (2011) are an exception in this case. You can only choose Display only or Inactive for work time events. For personnel time events, the option Default is also available.
