Definition

The meaning of the amount field depends on the type of interest. The amount field can have two meanings:

1. Interest is calculated on the amount.
   Example: Type of interest is 03 (interest on dummy costs).
   Interest is calculated on the sum that is entered in the amount field. A rate of interest must also be entered.
2. The amount is to be used as an interest amount.
   Example: Type of interest is 04 (Monthly credit fee on costs).
   In this case, the sum from the amount field is a fixed value (the monthly credit fee).

Use

The field is used in payroll to calculate interest.
