Documentation
Definition
Indicates a period in months from the beginning of the loan term.
If a loan officer enters a risk-increasing measure for a loan, the system runs a check against the lock period to see whether this is allowed.
- If it is allowed, the loan officer can activate the measure directly (providing the entries that are made do not conflict with other default settings for the product).
- If it is not allowed, the system forwards the measure to someone with the relevant authorization for release. If the release has not been activated, the system outputs a warning message, and the loan officer can activate the measure.
Use
- If you do not want to set a lock period, enter 0.
- If you want to set a lock period, enter the number of months.
