Definition
The release levels define how many people are required to release an object.
Examples:
- 1 release level: 2 employees (1 employee, 1 person responsible for release)
- 2 release levels: 3 employees (1 employee, 2 people responsible for release)
- 3 release levels: 4 employees (1 employee, 3 people responsible for release)
The person who approves a release is excluded from any further releases. In other words, no one is permitted to perform more than one release. The release workflow does not support more than 3 release levels.
