Definition

The release status indicates the current status of a data record if it is subject to the release procedure.

The first digit indicates the number of people that need to check the data record before the release.

The second digit indicates the number of relases that still need to be granted.

Example:

A data record is subject to the dual control principle, which means it must pass through two release levels and two different people must approve it.

The initial status assigned when created is '22'.

After the first release has taken place the field Release Status shows the value '21'.

After the second release the field shows the value '20' for 'released'.
