Definition

The Pension Fund (PF) field indicates the type of employee contribution to a pension fund.

Supplementary Documentation - SVKZ1 0001

Definition

Indicates in the UIF field if the employee contributes to UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) and if so, the type of contribution.

Note

The UIF is a statutory deduction. The employee's contribution is dependent on his or her salary being less than the threshold value defined for UIF (R82,992 at present). Two percent of an employee's salary can be contributed to the UIF (1% by the employer and 1% by the employee).
