Documentation
Definition
If absence categories of this type occur in the personal calendar, they are usually unpaid.
In some cases, you may want such absence categories to be paid.
When a special absence category occurs during a workday deduction (see the view T5A4A (General Absence Data)), the absence symbol ".." is generated on days off only if the absence category is flagged as paid.
If the special absence category is paid, and if it occurs during a workday deduction, you must ensure that you do not trigger any special payroll processing that uses the payroll operation ASVAB (identification of non-SI/non-tax days) when evaluating this absence category in the view V_T554C. Otherwise, in certain circumstances, a day cannot be uniquely identified as a non-SI or non-tax day when the symbol ".." occurs on a day off.
The following applies:
' '
-- Absence category is unpaid- Otherwise -- Absence category is paid
