Definition
Specifies whether an employment tax statement is to be created using the Elster procedure.
Use
If the field is blank, a statement can be created with Elster.
If the field is set to "X", no statement is created. When employees are required to pay partial taxes, the statement data must be communicated electronically upon request by the employee (sec. 39d, par. 3, cl. 5 EStG). This flag should no longer be used starting January 1, 2009, as this clause in EStG was stricken.
If the field is set to "E", a special employment tax statement is created. You should set this value when creating statements for employees with "flat rate tax" or "no tax liability" as tax obligations.
The indicator is relevant at the end of a statement period.
