Definition

Use

In this field, you determine if the maximum number of points the system can give a supplier is based on a supplier performance rating of 100% (upper boundary) or 0% (lower boundary). In some rating criteria, low percentages in supplier performance rating may be better than high percentages. By specifying a upper or a lower boundary for the rating criteria, you determine if the system regards high or low percentages as the best possible result.

You specify either the upper boundary or the lower boundary as follows:

• If you specify the upper boundary, supplier performance rating results of 100% receives the maximum number of score points.
• If you specify the lower boundary, supplier performance rating results of 0% receives the maximum number of score points.

Dependencies

You have defined the upper or lower boundary for the score points in the Customizing activity Score Lookup Table.
