Documentation
Definition
This specifies whether the position involves heavy labor on night shifts. If this is the case, it also specifies whether ab employee can "earn" additional leave or a special retirement pension.
Procedure
If the position does not involve heavy labor on night shifts, enter 0.
If the position involves heavy labor on night shifts, one of the following values:
- Enter 1 if the employee "earns" addtional leave
This entry is for companies with a special company-internal agreement regarding additional leave. This causes no notification of changes for the SI agency. However, the employee is not entitled to a special retirement pension. You define the absence types for this position in the report selection screen of the report RPTNSHA0(Night Shift Heavy Labor Law [NSchG]). These are the absence types that the system uses to determine the employee's entitlement to additional leave. The absence types parameter can be used to identify night shifts that qualify for additional leave entitlement. A night shift qualifies for entitlement when the employee has worked at least half of the the planned working time.
- Enter 2 if position allows for entitlement to addtional vacation and special pension retirement.
The system uses all absence types in order to determine the amount of additional leave for this position.
