Definition

Each retirement plan has its own age limits: when a plan owner (accountholder) reaches that age limit, he/she can no longer contribute funds to the retirement plan. If contribution will be made none the less, the accountholder will be charged with a tax penalty.

Note that there may be individual exceptions on the general age limit rule, which are not covered by the program.
