Definition

If the time base is variable, the time that the rate is determined is taken from the value of a time characteristic. You can specify the variable time base, for example, for the end or the start of a fiscal or calendar year, a period and a month or for a day. You can also specify it for a user-specific InfoObject (for example, trading day).
