Definition

With characteristic value variables you have the option of indicating not just single values but also intervals or SAP selection options with just one variable.

If you choose selection options, you can enter just one selection for a default value in the default value data. You then have the option of making further entries before executing the report.

For characteristic values and formula variables it is also possible to use the query result as a parameter selection. The variable is then replaced by the result of another query.
