Definition
Specifies the social security identification number (INSS) of a natural person.
Use
The INSS number adheres to the format NNNNNN.NNN-NN and is available from the employee's SIS (Social Information System) card. This field is mandatory.
Dependencies
This field is used in conjunction with other declaration fields to uniquely identify the occupation period. The occupation period is used to prevent reporting duplicate and overlapping records to the Belgian authorities.
The value of this field is retrieved for declarations required by the Belgian authorities, as follows:
- DmfA (RPCDMFB0) report
- Dimona Declaration: Generation (RPCDIGB0) report
- Social Risk Declaration (RPCSRDB0) report
The field value is stored in the INSS (00024) field of the electronic declaration file.
The field value is also used in tax reporting; the Belcotax - Yearly Income Declaration (RPCBWAB0) report also uses the number, and stores it according to the selected tax slip.
