Definition
Indicates the industry or sector to which a company belongs. For social insurance (SI) purposes, this value is referred to as the SI employer category.
Use
The value of this field is retrieved by various reports, as follows:
- DmfA (RPCDMFB0) report, and is stored in the Unrelated employer class (00019) and Employer class (0036) fields of the electronic DmfA file
- Social Risk Declaration (RPCSBGB0) report, and is stored in the Employer class (0036) field of the electronic declaration file
Note that in tables combining the SI employer category and SI employee category, if the employer class is assigned value 999, then the data specified for a particular employee category is valid for all possible employer categories.
