The hierarchy is extracted as one segment rather than multiple segments (header, texts, structure, intervals and so on). This single segment contains the important information. The texts for the hierarchy header are not extracted.

Use

This format is particulary suitable for the target open hub destination if you need to make the hierarchies available as a file or for external applications.

Dependencies

The extracted format matches the sequence of fields in the file format for loading hierarchies. This means it is easy to load a file created using the open hub destination into a different BW system (in flexible hierarchy format).
