DEC (packed number with 0 decimal places) and DATS (8 figure date) are permitted as technical data types.
If you wish to calculate with the key figure (for example, you wish to determine the processing time or retention period), then you should choose DEC as a data type. The time is then internally represented as the number of seconds from 0 o'clock.
