Type of source (semantic).
Use
You enter the type of source for source systems that do not extract from SAP.
Dependencies
If SAP ships BI Content for a non-SAP source system, a source type and source release are assigned to this content.
If you are using the corresponding system, the correct BI Content can only be found if you specify the source type and source release.
Example
If you are extracting data from an internal HR system, for example, enter MYH as the source system type.
For example, enter SIE for a Siebel system. In addition, you can specify a release or a version of this source system.
