Definition

If you set this indicator, existing requests are deleted from the InfoCube if the new request and the request to be deleted fulfill the deletion selection criteria.

Only requests that were loaded yesterday and today are deleted.

Comments

  • The system uses the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, corresponds to Greenwich Mean Time) to check whether the request was loaded yesterday or today. The system compares the date of the request (in UTC) with the current UTC date.

Since the comparison is based on UTC, it is possible that requests are still being deleted in other local time zones, even though a new day has already begun there. It is also possible that requests are no longer deleted although the previous day has not yet finished there.

    Example:
If you delete the requests from yesterday or today and, according to UTC, the date is September 20 but the local date is already September 21, the requests that were loaded, according to UTC, on September 19 and September 20 are deleted.

  • With this setting, the system refers to the date on which the request was loaded into the InfoCube (table RSMONICDP), and not the date on which the request was first loaded into the BW system (table RSSELDONE).

The RSSELDONE date is only used for comparison purposes if valuation of the request that is being checked is not yet completed in data package 999999 in table RSMONICDP in the InfoCube.

If you delete a request from the InfoCube and then load it into the InfoCube again from the PSA, the load date used for the comparison changes.
