Definition

You can define the authorization derived from a node of the hierarchy in various ways.

1. Type 0: The user only gets authorization for the node itself.
2. Type 1: Another option is to give the authorization for the node and all nodes and leaves that are positioned below it in the hierarchy. This option is available if you display a hierarchy in a query and the user is to be able to navigate freely below a node.
3. Type 2: The user is allowed to see all nodes and leaves below a node and scroll through them, but only to a given level. (including See help for the Hierarchy Level Input Field). The level must be specified in abolute terms with respect to the hierarchy.
4. Type 3: Complete hierarchy. This does not only include the highest visible level, but also the node for leaves that were not assigned.
5. Type 4: All nodes and leaves underneath a node up to the specified level. In contrast to type 2, the level is specified in relative terms to the node.
