Definition

An InfoSet is an InfoProvider that defines a semantic layer over DataStore objects and InfoObjects (characteristics with master data) with the aim of creating reports from and joins to these objects.

Unlike basic InfoProviders such as DataStore objects or InfoObjects with master data, InfoSets do not contain data themselves.

You create and change InfoSets in the InfoSet Builder. You can define reports based on InfoSets using the Query Designer.
