Use
Creating Selection Patterns
Enter a DataStore object and an InfoArea or a DataSource and a source system. You can use the placeholders Asterisk * and Plus + to select requests flexibly.
Example: The character string ABC* results in the selection of all objects that start with ABC and that end in any way whatsoever. The character string ABC+ results in the selection of all objects that start with ABC and that end with any other character.
Excluding Selection Patterns
If you set the indicator Exclude Selection Pattern, this pattern is not accounted for in the selection. For example, you define a selection pattern for the DataSources ABC*. To exclude certain DataSources for this selection pattern, create a second selection pattern for the DataSources ABCD* and set the indicator Exclude Selection Patterns. This selects all DataSources (and the corresponding requests) that start with ABC, with the exception of those that start with ABCD. Settings for age and status are not affected by excluded selection patterns.
Copying Request Selections
With the pushbutton @HB@ Copy Request Selections you can copy the settings for the age and status of a selection pattern (request selections) to any number of selection patterns. Select the selection pattern to which you want to copy the request selections, place the cursor on the selection pattern from which you want to copy, and choose Copy Request Selections.
Setting Status Indicators
If you only want to select requests with a certain status, set the corresponding indicator:
@9P@ Delete Successfully Updated Requests Only
@9O@ Delete Incorrect Requests that were not Updated
@PO@ Delete Activation Requests Only, No Load Requests (only when deleting from the Change Log)
