Documentation
Definition
You use planning sequences to group planning functions. You can execute planning functions in a defined sequence. When you define a planning sequence, you always specify a filter for each planning function.
Use
- You can execute planning sequences using the frontends of the corresponding commands.
- You can schedule planning sequences in process chains. You can define packaging here. To do so, divide the filter into disjuncted selections and execute the planning function for each subset. You need to do this if you want to process a large amount of data.
- Planning sequences can flow into a real time InfoCube each time before you save plan data. This information is stored in Planning Modeler.
