Definition
The algorithm of the planning function type processes empty records. Empty records are data records in the transaction data for which all key figures have the value zero.
Use
This indicator determines whether the empty records in the InfoProvider are to be processed when the planning function is executed. If yes, any empty records in the InfoProvider are transferred for processing to the implementation class of the planning function type. If the implementation class generates empty records that did not exist previously for the combinations of characteristics, these empty records are saved.
If this indicator is not set, empty records are ignored during processing. Empty records that are saved in the InfoProvider are not transferred to the implementation class of the function type. If the implementation class generates empty records that did not exist previously for the combinations of characteristics, these empty records are not saved.
