Indicator: Variables are allowed
Use
Elementary parameters and data selection parameters (see parameter types) support the basic variable concept in BW. This means that variables can be specified for these parameters for manual input and so on in the planning functions. These variables are replaced by values when the planning functions are checked and executed.
You may not always need variables, for example, if dependencies exist between the parameters of the planning functiontype. In this case you deselect the indicator so that users cannot use variables for the parameter.
