Indicator: Characteristic to be changed
Use
The characteristics in an InfoProvider are used in planning functions in different ways. You determine the role played by each characteristic in Characteristic Usage in the planning function.
This indicator is set if the characteristic is changed by the planning function.
Dependencies
Characteristics that are not selected as to be changed are block characteristics and serve to group transaction data.
Example
You want to copy actual data for the previous year to the plan data for the current year. The system uses the Version characteristic to distinguish between actual data and plan data. In the copy planning function, characteristics Version and Year are selected as to be changed. Additional characteristics such as Product and Country are not changed during the operation and are therefore block characteristics.
