Definition
Restrictions for selecting characteristics
Use
This setting is only relevant for data selection parameters (see Parameter Types). With this setting you determine which characteristics are included in the data selection (ranges table). Permitted characteristics are specified in relation to how they are used in the planning function. You have the following options:
- All Characteristics: Each characteristic contained in the InfoProvider is permitted.
- Block Characteristics Only: Blockcharacteristics are characteristics that serve to group transaction data (see Processing Without Block Building). You can only select these characteristics.
- To-Be-Changed Characteristics Only: You can only select those characteristics in the InfoProvider that are changed by the planning function. That is, characteristics that are not block characteristics (see also Characteristic Is Changed).
- Condition Characteristics Only: Only those characteristics that are used in the planning function to define conditions are permitted (see alsoCharacteristic Is Condition Characteristic).
