Documentation
Definition
You define the document type in this attribute. This is used in BW Web applications.
When placing items of type "Item Document" (KW_ITEM_DOC) in a Web template, determine the area in which the documents are displayed when the Web application is executed. You set paramenters for the item with the item attribute "Document Type" (WWW_DOC_TYPE). It then displays the documents that reserved the document attribute with the same value.
Example: You have saved the pictures and resumes of different people as a document. Set the attribute for all pictures to 'PIC' and the attribute for all resumes to 'CUR'. Then place an item in a Web report and set the item attribute "Document Type" (WWW_DOC_TYPE) to 'PIC' as well. The pictures for the currently selected person are now always displayed in the item.
For each characteristic value there must only be one document with a specific document type.
You do not have to maintain this attribute, if you only store one document for each characteristic value.
